+ If you encounter issues that raise questions or concerns, don't hesitate to post them here. Then proceed to configuring WSJT-X to employ Commander for transceiver control. + However, I strongly suggest that you focus first on getting Commander to track and control your IC-718. What settings should I use for DX Commander? I’ve ordered the cable from WMR along with some COM Port splitter. The cable is a 3.5 mm M-M cable with a 2 conductor on one end and a 3 conductor on the other end. You can share the same unit between the two radios if you elect one transceiver to be used without the (optional) CAT control. I want to control WSJT-X from DX Commander. Seem I’m missing the correct cable between the 718’s ACC (Accessory) port on the Back Panel and the computer audio port. IC-718 and G90: If you plan to utilize serial CAT control on both IC-718 and G90, you’ll need two separate Digirigs - one configured for CI-V, another for Logic levels. + Note that some commercial CI-V interfaces are referred to as a "cable", even though they include a circuit that performs the level conversion described above. Some commercial units include an USB-to-RS232-adaptor. You can buy a commercial unit, or you can build one. + You need what's referred to as a "CI-V interface" - a circuit that converts the RS-232 signals in an RS-232 port to the TTL levels used by your 718's "Remote Port". So far I have the 13 pin cable from the Signalink to the IC 718 and the USB cable from the Signalink to the laptop. I am setting up an ICOM IC-718 with a Signalink and I intend to run WSJT-X.
